Jim Lynch began their career in 2004 as a Sales employee for National Starch (AkzoNobel, Global Personal Care). In 2008, they moved to Ultra Chemical, Inc. as the VP of World Wide Sales, and then later became the Senior Director of Sales, where they were responsible for leading the company's Actives and Polymers to Sun Care, Skin Care and Cosmetics. In 2009, they took on the role of Strategic Consultant for Ashland Specialty Ingredient (Old ISP).

Jim Lynch obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Susquehanna University between 1990 and 1994. Jim also obtained two additional certifications from LinkedIn: "Asking Great Sales Questions" in May 2022 and "New Manager Foundations" in July 2021.
