Shay Torton

Shay Torton has over 30 years of work experience, with a focus on manufacturing operations and supply chain management. Their most recent role was as the VP EMEA Operation at Ultra Clean Technology, where they have been since April 2021. Prior to that, they served as the GM Israel at the same company from October 2019 to April 2021.

Before joining Ultra Clean Technology, Shay was the VP Managing Director - Israel at Jabil from March 2018 to January 2019.

From December 2016 to March 2018, Shay worked at Applied Materials as the VP Operations, Asia Manufacturing. Prior to that, they held the role of VP Operations Process Diagnostic and Control from June 2012 to December 2016.

Shay also served as the Senior Vice President Operations at Delta Design from August 2011 to May 2012.

Their longest-tenured position was at Kulicke & Soffa industries Inc., where they held various roles from 1991 to 2011. Notably, they served as the Senior VP Global Manufacturing Operations | Supply Chain from an unknown start date to August 2011. In this role, they reported to the company CEO and were responsible for defining the manufacturing strategy and leading global operations. They also held the position of VP / GM - China Operation from 1991 to 2005.

Shay's work experience dates back to their early career at Aviv as an IE from 1990 to 1991.

Shay Torton obtained a Bsc degree in Industrial Engineering from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, where they studied from 1986 to 1990. Shay then pursued further education and completed an MBA from Pepperdine University between 2009 and 2011.
