Cristian Portillo

Cristian Portillo is a highly experienced Senior Design Engineer currently at Ultra Clean Technology since March 2021, where responsibilities include researching customer design proposals, analyzing feasibility, and designing gas and liquid delivery systems using CAD software. Prior experience includes roles as a Senior Engineer and Engineer II at Watlow from August 2015 to March 2021, focusing on the development of gas line heating thermal systems and engaging with customers for thermal system components. Cristian also served as an Interconnect Applications Engineer at Essai, Inc. from October 2012 to August 2015, managing integrated circuit projects and liaising with customers regarding device applications. Earlier experience includes an internship as a Mechanical Engineer at Lam Research, contributing to the DFX Assessment process. Cristian holds a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from San Jose State University, attained in 2012, and completed high school education at Andrew P. Hill High School in 2007.
