Nir Yaniv has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Nir started their career in the Israeli Navy, where they served as a Navy Commander and Training Officer for a total of five years. Afterward, they worked as a Manufacturing Project Manager at ELTA, managing large-scale projects and implementing improvements in manufacturing processes.
Nir then joined Intel Corporation, where they held various roles. As a Manufacturing Group Leader and Shift Manager, they managed a team of manufacturing engineers and ensured efficient production. Later, they became the Head of Manufacturing Assets Operational Excellence, leading a business unit responsible for maintaining and improving operational excellence for 2,000 manufacturing assets. Nir implemented new BI tools and data analysis techniques to optimize asset usage and preventive maintenance effectiveness.
Following their tenure at Intel, Nir established their own consultancy business, Nir Yaniv - Industry 4.0 Technologies. Nir provided expertise in Industry 4.0 strategy, automation, and smart manufacturing to large industrial organizations and startups, implementing innovative technologies to advance their businesses.
Most recently, Nir joined Ultra Clean Technology as the Director of Operations, where they led the company's site in Kiryat Gat, Israel. Nir was responsible for improving EH&S, quality, productivity, and profitability, achieving record-breaking revenue, growth, and margins. Prior to this role, they served as the Senior Production Manager at UCT Services, rebuilding and reforming the organization and achieving substantial improvements in production effectiveness, revenue, and margins.

Nir Yaniv graduated with a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Industrial Engineering from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev in 2011. Nir then pursued a Master's Degree (M.Sc) in Energy Engineering at Afeka College of Engineering from 2014 to 2016. Prior to their university education, they attended the Israeli Naval Academy from 2000 to 2006, where they gained experience as a naval officer and ship commander. In terms of certifications, Nir obtained a Technological Consultant certification from the Israel Innovation Authority in 2019. Nir also holds a certification as an Energy Superior from the Israel Ministry of Energy. Additionally, they received a Kaizen Facilitator- Lean Israel certification from Lean Israel, Engineering and Business Management Ltd and a Situational Leadership certification from The Ken Blanchard Companies.
