Adam Gray, P. Eng., is a highly experienced engineer currently serving as Chief Engineer in Research & Development and Capability Manager for Sonar Systems at Ultra Maritime since April 2015. With a robust background in mechanical design and project management, Adam has contributed to various engineering capacities, including feasibility studies for integrating sonar systems onto submarine platforms. Prior experience includes research at the University of Victoria, where Adam developed MATLAB programs related to demand response in electrical systems, and roles at Imperial Oil Resources and Fisheries and Oceans Canada, where innovative solutions and project coordination were key achievements. Adam began the career in the Canadian Forces as an Armoured Officer and holds dual degrees in Mechanical Engineering (M.A.Sc and B.Eng.) from the University of Victoria, as well as a diploma in Welding Engineering Technology from SAIT.
