Matthew Auby

Matthew Auby is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in electrical engineering and leadership roles. Currently serving as the Director of Electrical Engineering at Ultra Maritime since February 2018, Matthew Auby provides leadership across multiple sites, spearheads organizational change, and enhances development processes through Kaizen events. Previous roles include Electrical Engineering Department Head at Ultra Electronics Ocean Systems, where Matthew Auby managed design, risk, and supplier relationships, and Principal Electrical Engineer, focusing on high-power electrical design and complex impedance modeling. Additionally, Matthew Auby has a solid foundation in engineering gained from positions at Textron Systems and the University of Massachusetts - Lowell. Educational credentials include an MBA in Entrepreneurship from Northeastern University and Master’s degrees in Power Electronics and Electrical Engineering from UMass institutions.
