Steve Binns

Steve Binns is a seasoned electronics engineer with extensive experience in various sectors, including maritime, automotive, and industrial electronics. Currently serving as a Senior Electronics Engineer at Ultra Maritime since August 2019, Steve has also held positions such as Hardware Engineer at ZF Group and Senior Electronics Engineer at GE Grid Solutions, among others. Notable past roles include Firmware Engineer at JCB and Senior Hardware Engineer at TRW Family of Companies. Steve is a graduate of Staffordshire University with a BSc(Hons) in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, where the focus was on the design of a PAL programmer. Additionally, Steve contributed to community service during a summer sabbatical by volunteering with the Canal and River Trust and assisting in local initiatives.
