Neil Ross

Neil Ross has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of business and legal affairs. Neil is currently serving as the Head of Business & Legal Affairs at Ultra Records since May 2022. Prior to that, they worked at The Orchard as the Senior Vice President and Deputy General Counsel for Business and Legal Affairs from January 2018 to May 2022.

From 2006 to 2017, Neil held the position of Senior Vice President for Business and Legal Affairs at RED Distribution. Before joining RED Distribution, they served as the Vice President of Business & Legal Affairs at SANCTUARY MUSIC GROUP from October 2004 to January 2006.

Neil also gained significant experience in the music industry through their roles at Atlantic Records, where they worked as the Senior Director of Business & Legal Affairs from September 2000 to June 2004, and at Jive Records, where they served as the Senior Director of Legal & Business Affairs from January 1998 to September 2000.

Prior to their career in the music industry, Neil worked as an Associate at law firms Franklin, Weinrib, Rudell & Vassallo, P.C. from July 1993 to December 1997, Gold, Farrell & Marks from January 1991 to April 1993, and Rosenman & Colin from April 1990 to December 1990.

Neil's earliest work experience was as a Booking Agent at Norby Walters Associates from November 1985 to May 1987. Overall, Neil Ross has over three decades of experience in the music industry and legal field, specializing in business affairs and legal matters.

Neil Ross completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Music Business from New York University from 1982 to 1985. Neil then proceeded to pursue a Juris Doctor degree with honors, graduating cum laude from the Cardozo School of Law between 1987 and 1990.
