Luis 👨💻 Mendieta

Luis Mendieta has worked in the tech industry since 2010. Luis 👨‍💻 began their career as a Graphic Designer Jr with Agencia Publicitaria LeChante. In 2014, they began working as a Freelance Software Developer, learning new languages, tools, and software architecture patterns. In 2016, they took on the role of Network Administrator with Conéctate ISP, where they were responsible for network design, configuration of Ubiquiti devices, and installation and customer service. In 2018, they joined Q Marketing Internet as a Full Stack mid, where they stayed up to date with new technology, did project time estimations, designed databases, attended meetings, and generated ideas with team members. In 2019, they were a Software Engineer at Encora Inc. and, in 2020, they joined Ultra as a Frontend Developer to develop core features, ensure code quality, and propose and discuss solutions.

Luis Mendieta obtained a Computer Systems Engineer degree from the Instituto Tecnológico Superior de Rioverde between 2012 and 2017. Luis 👨‍💻 then obtained certifications from Encora Inc. for GDPR, Secure Application Development: Data Hygiene, Secure Application Development: Memory Management, Secure Application Development: OWASP Top Ten Refresher, Secure Application Development: Password Hygiene, and Secure Application Development: Protecting Source Code in January 2022. In April 2022, they obtained an AWS Certified Developer – Associate certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS). Luis 👨‍💻 is also currently pursuing a Diseño Web certification from Platzi INC.
