Romain started their career in 2003 as a Software Developer at ObbiData before moving on to work as a Software Developer for WEXLOG, where they were involved in communication layer management and data warehouse integration.

In 2007, Romain joined Thomson Reuters as a Software Developer, and later took on the role of Lead Software Developer. During their time there, they worked on various projects such as client usage analysis, application benchmarking, and architecture refactoring.
