Joanna Lomas

Joanna Lomas has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Joanna started their career as an Assistant Designer at The Left Bank - Huddersfield, where they gained experience in design, manufacturing, and marketing of womenswear, menswear, and special occasion garments. Joanna then went on to establish their own business, JLomas Designs, where they designed and manufactured women's wear, managed their own website, and stocked their collection in local boutiques. During this time, they also wrote a column for a local magazine.

Joanna later worked as an Assistant Technical Designer at David Nieper, an Assistant Designer at Studio One LTD, and as a Research & Development Textile Engineer at GUILFORD EUROPE LTD. In these roles, they gained experience in pattern cutting, fabric sourcing, and working with key customer engineering teams to develop and validate new products.

Their most recent role was as a Business Account Manager at Guilford Performance Textiles, where they managed business accounts and worked closely with clients to meet their specifications and achieve delivery times.

Joanna's current role is as a European Automotive Account Manager at Ultrafabrics, where they are responsible for managing accounts in the automotive industry.

Joanna Lomas attended The University of Huddersfield from 2009 to 2013, where they pursued a degree in Fashion Design with Textiles and graduated with a Ba(Hons) degree.
