Akhilesh Bhambhani

Akhilesh Bhambhani is a pharmaceutical executive with extensive experience in technical development and global CMC development. Currently serving as Vice President at Ultragenyx since July 2021, Bhambhani oversees all aspects of CMC development, ensuring compliance with corporate objectives and regulatory standards. Prior to this role, Bhambhani held various leadership positions at Merck from March 2009 to March 2023, including Executive Director for Biologics drug product development, where responsibility included strategic direction for mRNA/LNP and protein therapeutics.
