Anne Nelson Boney

Anne Nelson Boney, MEd, RD, LDN, currently serves as the Associate Director Global Metabolic Nutrition Programs at Ultragenyx Pharmaceutical Inc. since October 2021. Previously, Boney held the role of Clinical Science Liaison and Manager of Clinical Nutrition Support at QOL Medical LLC from July 2013 to May 2020, where a position was created to enhance awareness and education among healthcare providers regarding congenital sucrase-isomaltase deficiency and related treatment therapies. At Duke University Hospital, Boney was a Genetic/Metabolic Dietitian in the Pediatrics Department and Medical Genetics Division from March 1992 to June 2003, contributing significantly to clinical program development and research, and became a national expert in glycogen storage diseases. Additionally, Boney has held various clinical positions in nutrition and dietetics from 1986 to 1992. Boney earned a Master of Education in Foods and Nutrition from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and a Bachelor of Science in Public Health Nutrition from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
