Howard Horn

Howard Horn is the Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President, Corporate Strategy at Ultragenyx since October 2023. Prior to this, Howard was the Chief Financial Officer at Vir Biotechnology, Inc. from March 2017 to April 2023, leading the company through rapid growth to a public, commercial-stage organization. Howard also has experience as the Vice President, Head of Business Planning at Biogen and as a Co-Founder at Noble.MD. With an MBA from The Wharton School and a BA in Economics from Princeton University, Howard has a strong background in finance and strategy, having worked with various pharma, biotech, and medical device companies throughout their career.
