Joshua Higa

Joshua Higa is an accomplished finance and investor relations professional with extensive experience in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical sectors. Currently serving as Vice President of Investor Relations at Ultragenyx since September 2018, Joshua has held various leadership roles, including Executive Director and Director of Investor Relations and Corporate Communications. Prior to Ultragenyx, Joshua held the position of Head of R&D Financial Planning and Analysis at Dermira, Inc. and served as Associate Director of Business Operations at Atara Biotherapeutics. Joshua's career also includes significant roles at Onyx Pharmaceuticals and Amgen, where responsibilities spanned corporate finance, forecasting, and strategic analysis. Joshua holds an MBA from UCLA Anderson School of Management and a BA in Economics/Business and Philosophy from Westmont College.
