Karah Parschauer

Karah Parschauer currently serves as the Executive Vice President, Chief Legal Officer, and Corporate Affairs at Ultragenyx Pharmaceutical Inc. since June 2016. In addition to this role, Karah is a member of the Board of Directors for Tenaya Therapeutics and Evolus, both since December 2021 and July 2019, respectively, and previously served on the Board of Directors for Arcturus Therapeutics from June 2019 to August 2021. Prior professional experience includes a significant tenure at Allergan, where Karah held multiple roles, including Vice President and Associate General Counsel, from June 2005 to June 2016. Earlier in the career, Karah worked as an Associate at Latham & Watkins, focusing on corporate law, securities, mergers, and acquisitions. Academic credentials include a Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in Zoology/Animal Biology from Miami University.
