Kristin N. Voorhees

Kristin N. Voorhees, MA, serves as the Senior Director of Patient Advocacy at Ultragenyx since October 2017, where responsibilities include cultivating relationships with patient advocacy groups and integrating patient perspectives into organizational strategies for rare diseases. Prior roles at Ultragenyx include Director, Associate Director, and Senior Manager of Patient Advocacy. Kristin’s experience also encompasses roles on the Annual Meeting Planning Committee for the Drug Information Association, advisory positions with the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute and the US Food and Drug Administration, and leadership at Beyond Celiac, focusing on healthcare initiatives for celiac disease. Educationally, Kristin holds a Master’s in Health Communication from Emerson College and a Bachelor’s in Communication Studies with a concentration in Health Communication from James Madison University.
