Rüdiger Schulze

Rüdiger Schulze is an accomplished executive in the pharmaceutical industry with extensive experience in general management and commercial strategy. Currently serving as Vice President and General Manager for the DACH region at Ultragenyx since November 2016, Rüdiger has previously held leadership roles at Shire, Bristol-Myers Squibb, and Janssen-Cilag, with a strong focus on orphan drugs, specialty pharmaceuticals, and market access. Notably, Rüdiger has a proven track record of successful product launches, portfolio expansion, and revenue growth, complemented by accolades such as the Legacy Award at Shire and the CEO Award in 2013. Rüdiger holds a Dr.rer.nat in Pharmacology from the University of Duisburg-Essen, along with degrees in Biology from Heidelberg University and the University of Bonn.
