Sandy Wenzel Schaumleffel has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Sandy began their career in 2000 as the Director of Marketing at Intessa Corporation, where they organized events and managed budgets for real estate development projects. Sandy then joined Fireman's Fund Insurance Company in 2002 and held various senior leadership roles, including Senior Director of Marketing Communications, Senior Director of Creative & Web Solutions, and Marketing Communications & Operations Director. During their time at Fireman's Fund, they led cross-functional teams, developed communication strategies, and oversaw the execution of marketing initiatives. In 2015, Sandy joined Nationwide Private Client as a Senior Leader in Marketing & Communications, where they played a pivotal role in the company's brand transition project and led a team focused on developing communication strategies for the niche affluent market. In 2016, they served as a Board Member and Brand Consultant for Wenzel Entertainment LLC, a production and management company. Sandy is currently working as the Senior Director of Global Internal Communications at Ultragenyx Pharmaceutical Inc. since 2019.
