Siegfried Hackl

Siegfried Hackl, PhD, has extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Siegfried is currently the Senior Vice President of Product Supply at Ultragenyx Pharmaceutical Inc., where they lead the external manufacturing of various modalities and oversees global supply chain management for clinical and commercial supply. Siegfried also manages relationships with contract manufacturing organizations (CMOs) and ensures a robust and responsive manufacturing system. Prior to Ultragenyx, Dr. Hackl held various roles at Boehringer Ingelheim, including Head of Life Cycle Management Respimat and Head of Biopharmaceuticals Business Process Excellence and Performance Management. Siegfried also has experience in quality assurance, production plant management, and project management throughout their career.

Siegfried Hackl, PhD pursued their doctoral studies in Pharmaceutical Technology at Freie Universität Berlin from 2003 to 2006. Prior to that, they obtained a Diplom-Ingenieurin (Dipl.Ing.) degree in Food and Biotechnology from the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna (BOKU) between 1985 and 1993.
