Will Irwin is a graduate of Princeton University and received his MBA degree from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. He began his career as a certified public accountant at Price Waterhouse in New York City and later moved into management at a chemical manufacturing company, where he eventually became president.
Since 2003, Will has been the owner of UltraMobile Imaging. He is the President-elect of the American Portable Diagnostics Association (APDA) where he has been an advocate for legislation in the U.S. Congress and the N.Y. state Legislature. He also represents APDA in collaborations with major advocacy groups including the American Medical Directors Association, Leading Age and MedPac – the independent commission that advises Congress on Medicare matters.
Will is a member of the American Telemedicine Association (ATA) where he advocates for the adoption of telemedicine at the national and regional level. He is a past board member of Lifespan, the major not-for-profit advocacy and services agency serving the needs of the elderly in Western N.Y. Additionally he serves on the legislative action committee of the Greater Rochester Area Partnership for the Elderly (G.R.A.P.E.) where UMI has sponsored the annual Town Hall Meeting that hosts regional legislators with the goal of advancing bills that support the elderly.
