Brahm Potu

Brahm Potu has worked in the tech industry since 1998. Brahm began their career as President of K2 Media Networks, Inc., a consulting and services company for digital media and networking companies. In 2001, they became VP Engineering at iPlay Networks (P) Ltd., where they led a team of 20 engineers and provided architectural models for digital video pre/post processing algorithms. Brahm also served as a part-time consultant for BVS, Inc. in 2001. From 2007 to 2010, they worked as a consultant for Zoran, Intevac, and Microsoft (XBOX group). In their role at Microsoft, they worked on four generations of XBOX SOC at various levels. In 2018, they became a RTL and FPGA Design Consultant at Facebook and a Consultant at GLOBALFOUNDRIES, where they worked on RTL design and integration of ARM-Based systems. Currently, they are Senior Director of IC Design at UltraSense Systems.

Brahm Potu obtained their B.E (Hons.) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani in 1976-1981. Brahm then went on to obtain an M.S in Electronics from Indian Institute of Technology, Madras from 1981-1983. Finally, they completed their Ph.D in Computer Engineering from University of Cincinnati in 1985-1989.
