Doug Traser

Doug Traser has a diverse work experience spanning over 25 years. Most recently, they are serving as the Global Vice President of MDR at UltraViolet Cyber since April 2023. Prior to this, from November 2020 to present, they worked at Mosaic451 in various roles including Vice President of MDR Services & Engineering, Director of MDR Services, and IT Security Program Manager. From 2016 to 2017, they served as an Information Security Manager at Five9. Before that, from 2014 to 2016, they held the position of Senior Manager, Security & Compliance at Gymboree, where they achieved significant accomplishments in areas like PCI DSS compliance, log collection solutions, and two-factor authentication. Earlier in their career, they worked at HeidelbergCement as a Global Infrastructure Security Manager, and at Hanson as a Global Infrastructure Network Security Manager and Network Security Engineer. Doug also gained experience as an Information Technology Specialist at Hanson Building Materials America. Prior to that, they worked as an Independent Consultant at Traser Software. Overall, Doug Traser has demonstrated expertise in various cybersecurity roles, particularly in managed detection and response (MDR) services, IT security program management, and infrastructure security management.

Doug Traser attended Las Positas College from 1993 to 1994 and studied Computer Science. Doug obtained the CISSP - Certified Information Systems Security Professional certification from (ISC)² in May 2014.
