Joshua Hunter

Joshua Hunter has a diverse work experience starting with their service in the US Army as a Combat Engineer/Heavy Equipment Operator/Water Treatment Specialist from October 2005 to October 2012. Joshua completed various training programs and volunteered for missions in Iraq and Afghanistan, receiving an honorable discharge.

After their military service, Joshua joined Mosaic451 in July 2018 and held multiple roles. Joshua started as a Cyber Security Analyst - Jr and gradually progressed to become a Cyber Security Analyst - Mid, then a Cyber Security Analyst - Senior, and finally a Cyber Security Analyst - Lead. Their tenure at Mosaic451 lasted until May 2022.

Following their time at Mosaic451, Joshua joined UltraViolet Cyber in May 2022 as a Cyber Operations Manager, where they are currently employed.

Joshua Hunter attended Portland Community College from 2012 to 2016, where they focused on Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance. Prior to that, from 2008 to 2009, they also studied Emergency Medical Technology/Technician (EMT Paramedic) at the same institution. In February 2020, Joshua obtained the Splunk Core Certified User certification from Splunk.
