Lesley Bearg

Lesley Bearg has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Starting in 2002, they worked as an Investment Banking Analyst at RBC Capital Markets. Lesley then joined MV Credit as a Financial Analyst in 2004. In 2007, Lesley became a Vice President at Audax Group, where they focused on investing in senior debt in middle market private equity-backed leveraged buyouts. Lesley left Audax in 2013 and became a Finance Consultant at Globaloria until 2014.

Lesley then transitioned into the technology sector, joining WeWork in 2017 as a Director of Finance, later becoming a Senior Director of Finance. During their time at WeWork, they played a key role in financial management. In 2014, Lesley joined Flatiron School, a Coding Bootcamp pioneer, as a Director of Finance. Lesley was promoted to Senior Director of Finance before becoming the VP of Finance. At Flatiron School, Lesley was responsible for financial planning and strategy.

Currently, Lesley serves as the Chief Financial Officer at UltraViolet Cyber, a unified security operations company. In addition to managing the organization's finances, they also facilitate career launch opportunities for apprentices in the cybersecurity field to address the talent gap. Lesley brings their vast experience in finance to drive success and growth in their role at UltraViolet Cyber.

Lesley Bearg completed a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Finance and Economics from the University of Toronto - Rotman School of Management from 1997 to 2001. Following that, Lesley pursued further education and obtained a Master of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Toronto, which was completed in 2002.
