Ira Starr

Ira Starr is a Managing Director at Long Point Capital, a firm they co-founded in 1998 after being a general partner at MLGA, an M&A advisory and private equity firm. They have directed private equity investments exceeding $600 million and have advised on transactions totaling over $5 billion. Ira's previous roles include serving as an investment banker at Merrill Lynch and as a strategy consultant with Booz Allen Hamilton. They hold a BSE in Engineering from Princeton University and an MBA from Harvard Business School, and currently works in Long Point Capital’s New York office.
