Chris Boys has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Chris founded and served as CEO at Umano since 2016. Prior to this, they held the role of Non Executive Director at Loreto Normanhurst. In 2015, they co-founded CoderCred and served as its CEO until 2016. From 2012 to 2015, Chris held various positions including Director of Strategy & Solutions at Dun & Bradstreet and Member of Council at Loreto Education Council. Before that, they worked at Social Ventures Australia as a General Manager and Director of Venture Development. Chris also has experience as the CEO of Kanyini Foundation and as a Portfolio Manager at Social Ventures Australia. Chris began their career as a Strategic Planner at Jesuits Australia and as a Strategy Consultant at Accenture.

Chris Boys attended the Stanford University Graduate School of Business in 2010, where they completed an Executive Program in Social Entrepreneurship. In 2002, they also attended the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, where they completed an Executive Program in Financial Analysis for Strategy. Prior to that, from 1997 to 1999, they studied at the University of Technology Sydney, earning a Bachelor of Business degree with a focus on International Business and Marketing.
