Jonathan McGrath

Jonathan McGrath currently serves as the Assistant Director of Communications, Marketing, and Web at the College of Natural Sciences at UMass Amherst, and is an Advisory Board Member at FLUSH. Previously, Jonathan held the position of Senior Manager of Communications at Athena Infonomics, where responsibilities included overseeing global communications, leading a corporate website redesign, and enhancing internal and external messaging strategies. Jonathan also managed communications for Safe Water Network across multiple countries, held a role as a Policy Analyst at the New York City Department of Environmental Protection, and consulted on urban planning with KB Home. Earlier experience included roles in the City of Los Angeles and the New York City Department of Transportation, focusing on sustainability projects and community planning. Jonathan McGrath holds a Master of Urban Planning from NYU and a Bachelor of Arts in Humanities from Providence College.
