Rick Vander Kam, Ed.D. ABD has extensive work experience in leadership development and organizational capacity building. Rick served as the Lead Instructor and Instructional Designer at Brandman University starting in 2013, where they co-created a successful leadership development program that improved communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution among middle management. Prior to this, they founded The Van Arend Company in 1999, focusing on developing people to enhance organizational capacity and achieve transformation. As the owner of the company, Rick emphasized delivering tangible results rather than mere buzzwords.

Rick Vander Kam, Ed.D. ABD has a strong educational background in education and leadership. Rick pursued their Doctoral Studies in Education, Leadership and Change at Fielding Graduate University from 2003 to 2008. Prior to that, they took MA classes in Organizational Leadership at Chapman University from 2002 to 2003. In addition to their academic achievements, Rick obtained a certification in Coaching Skills for Leaders and Managers from LinkedIn in 2019.
