Ben Skilling

Ben Skilling, CFP®, has a wealth of experience in the financial planning industry. From 2007 to 2021, they served as the Vice President of Financial Planning at Waddell & Reed. During this time, they gained expertise in developing financial plans and managing client relationships. In 2018, Ben took on the role of President at the Financial Planning Association (FPA) of Greater Kansas City, where they further showcased their leadership skills. In 2021, Ben joined UMB Bank as the SVP, Director of Financial Planning. Ben later transitioned to the role of SVP, Director of Planning & Practice Development before becoming the SVP, Director of Sales & Delivery in 2023. Ben's diverse experience and comprehensive knowledge make him a valuable asset in the finance industry.

Ben Skilling, CFP®, holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree from The University of Kansas. Ben has also obtained the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification from the CFP Board in the year 2009.
