Catherine Williams

Catherine Williams is a seasoned business development professional with extensive experience in the financial services industry. Currently serving as a Business Development Manager at UMB Bank since April 2023, Catherine previously held the position of Business Development Director for Trust and Custody Services at BMO Global Asset Management from October 2014 to April 2023, where responsibilities included generating new institutional custody relationships, managing sales processes, and leading client presentations. Prior to BMO, Catherine was the Sales Director for Institutional Investor Services at State Street from February 2007 to March 2012, focusing on investment servicing sales strategy, prospect development, and client relationship management. Catherine’s career began at Northern Trust Company, where from 1990 to 2007, a role as Sales and Relationship Manager involved developing sales strategies for asset servicing and managing significant institutional custody relationships. Catherine holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the University of Colorado Boulder’s Leeds School of Business, achieved between 1987 and 1990.
