Diyu Wu has a diverse work experience in the legal field. Diyu is currently Vice President and Legal Counsel, Director at UMBF Trust and Agency Services (Ireland) Limited. Prior to this, they worked as a Volunteer Solicitor at FLAC - Free Legal Advice Centres. Diyu also served as Head of Legal at CAE Parc Aviation.

During their time at Arthur Cox LLP, Diyu Wu worked as an Aviation and Asset Finance Associate, where they participated in a significant Anti-Money Laundering investigation by the Central Bank of Ireland. Diyu was the only Chinese-speaking Irish qualified lawyer in a large corporate law firm in Ireland.

In 2016, they took a career break from private legal practice and started their own business, Sólas Watches, an Irish design watch brand. Diyu also worked part-time as a legal consultant for Asian Legal Business/Thomson Reuters during this period.

At Arthur Cox, they started as a Trainee Solicitor and later worked as a Tax Associate, gaining experience in equipment leasing and establishing equipment leasing platforms.

Additionally, they had a secondment as a Solicitor at King & Wood Mallesons and completed summer internships at ByrneWallace and McCann FitzGerald. Diyu also served as a field placement legal intern at Atlanta Legal Aid Society.

Diyu Wu completed a Diploma in Aviation Leasing and Finance from the Law Society of Ireland in 2020. Prior to that, from 2011 to 2013, they pursued a Professional Practice Course in Law at the Law Society of Ireland. In 2005, Diyu Wu obtained an LLB in Law from Trinity College Dublin. They also had an exchange program at Emory University School of Law in 2008-2009 and a Law Scholarship at Peking University in 2006-2007. Their earliest education was at St Mary's College, Rathmines from 2000 to 2005.
