Matt Clarkin is the Vice President of Business Development in the Northeast for UMB Bank's Healthcare Services Division, a role they commenced in 2024. Prior to this, they co-founded Access Point HSA, an independent consulting firm dedicated to assisting financial service professionals with Health Savings Accounts (HSAs) from 2015 to 2023. Matt brings extensive experience in municipal finance, having served as Chief Financial Officer and Auditor for the City of Providence from 1991 to 2017, and as a Financial Budget Analyst/Consultant for the City of Warwick, Rhode Island, from 2023 to 2024. They are currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Finance at Bryant University.
