Alexander Potter has held various roles in the technology and engineering fields since 2003. Alexander began their career at Boeing as a SEIT Engineer in 2003. From 2007 to 2014, they worked for the US Federal Government as a Program Manager, and for NASA Goddard Space Flight Center as a MEI Contract engineer. From 2014 to 2019, they worked for Raytheon as a Project Manager Business Development. Since 2019, they have been with Umbra, where they have held the roles of Executive Vice President of Technology Development, Director of Payloads, and Senior Spacecraft Systems Engineer.

Alexander Potter received their Applied Physics degree from The Johns Hopkins University and their Engineering Physics degree from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
