Emmanuel Tissera currently serves as the Head of the APAC Region at Umbraco, leading strategy and execution to expand the company's presence across Asia-Pacific, while focusing on building relationships with partners, clients, and the open-source community. Previously, Tissera held the role of Technical Director at Luminary, where responsibilities included managing Solutions Architects, Team Leads, and Developers in delivering tailored digital solutions across various platforms. Tissera's extensive experience encompasses roles as Technical Lead and Senior Developer at Luminary, Senior Software Engineer positions at Australian Associated Press and Emirates, and leadership roles at Crown Content and Ridgecrest Asia. Tissera holds a Master of Science in Digital Transformation from London Metropolitan University and a Bachelor's degree in Computing and Information Systems from the same institution, along with multiple diplomas in computer studies.
