Matt Brailsford

Matt Brailsford has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. In 2010, they started their career as a Lead Developer at White Space Fine Art, where they worked until 2011. From 2011 to 2012, they served as a Developer & Evangelist at Umbraco. Matt then founded and owned The Big Watch Shop from 2012 to 2017. During the same period, they also owned Outfield Digital Limited. In 2014, they became an Organiser at Barnsley.IO, a position they held until 2019. In 2016, they became a Co-Organiser at CODECABIN, a role they continue to hold. Since 2017, they have been an Organiser at TTN Barnsley, which they will continue until 2020. From 2019 to present, they have been the Owner of Tea Commerce. Matt joined Umbraco in 2023 as a Commerce Technical Team Lead and currently holds the position. Matt is also the Creator at UMB.FYI, starting from 2023.

Matt Brailsford completed their education with a BA (Hons) degree in Multimedia Design from Huddersfield University in the years 1998 to 2002. Prior to that, they obtained an ND in Graphic Design from Rotherham College of Arts & Technology in the years 1996 to 1998. Matt has also obtained various certifications, including Umbraco Master and Umbraco Certified Developer (Level 1 and 2) from Umbraco, Developing with EPiServer CMS 5 (E2550) from EPiServer, and several Microsoft certifications related to ASP.NET and MS SQL Server.
