Jeremy Roussel

Jeremy Roussel has worked in a variety of roles since 2012. In 2012, they were a Challenge Engineer at BP. From 2014 to 2018, they were an Assistant Store Director at Texas Endurance Sports, where they spearheaded daily operations of a high-volume retail store and drove product sales and operations management. From 2018 to 2020, they were a Research Assistant at the University of Houston, where they supported professors with research, data analysis, and equipment for tri-axial rock mechanics testing. From 2020 to 2021, they were a Developer in Residence and Full Stack Developer Student at DigitalCrafts, where they provided additional instruction for student developers and developed a curriculum for teaching algorithms and algorithmic problem solving. Currently, they are a Software Engineer and Web at Umbrage.

Jeremy Roussel's education history includes a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Petroleum Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin, obtained between 2007 and 2011. Jeremy also obtained a Master of Science (MS) in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Houston between 2017 and 2020. Additionally, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from The University of Texas at Austin between 2013 and 2014. Most recently, they completed a course in Full Stack Development from DigitalCrafts in 2020. Jeremy also has several certifications, including a Python for Data Science: Intermediate and Fundamentals Course from Dataquest.io obtained in 2019, an AWS Certified Developer - Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) obtained in 2021, an AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS) obtained in 2021, and a USA Triathlon Coaching Level 1 from USA Triathlon.
