Oscar Borbon, RN, MSN, NE-BC, DABFN, is the Director of Cardiovascular and Stroke Services at University Medical Center of Southern Nevada, with over 20 years of progressive leadership and management experience in nursing. Oscar has successfully managed departments with a span of control of 300 FTE, multiple direct reports, and substantial budgets, while fostering positive physician relationships and improving satisfaction among customers and staff. Previously, Oscar served as the Director of Nursing for Heart and Vascular at St. Agnes Medical Center. Currently, Oscar is pursuing a Master of Science in Nursing and Healthcare Administration through the Nurse Executive Program at Long Island University.
