Dan Naidoo

Dan Naidoo is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in water management and governance. Currently serving as the Board Chair and Non-Executive Director at the Water Institute of Southern Africa since June 2019, Dan Naidoo has been with Umgeni Water since January 2002, occupying various roles including Regional Manager Operations and Senior Manager: Strategic Support, overseeing water infrastructure management for the Ethekweni Metro Municipality. As Chairperson of the Board at Uthukela Water (Pty) Ltd from January 2008 to June 2021, Dan Naidoo focused on corporate governance, risk management, and service delivery strategies for provincial and local governments. Dan Naidoo holds a BSc (Hons) in Water Utilization Engineering from the University of Pretoria and completed Matric at Clairwood High School.
