Christian Westman

Christian Westman is an experienced IT professional currently serving as the Head of Information Technology at Umia since August 2021. Prior to this, Christian held positions at Region Västerbotten, including Förvaltningsledare Teknik and Sektionschef Infrastruktur, managing technical infrastructure and leading a team of 18 employees. Christian has also worked as a Systemtekniker and Cloud Architect at Umeå kommun, focusing on Microsoft services, and served as a Solutions Architect and IT Manager at Atea Sverige AB. Earlier experience includes significant roles at The Boston Consulting Group, hotelBANK, and Socialstyrelsen, where responsibilities ranged from IT architecture to operational budget management. Christian holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Electronics from Umeå University.
