Jose L Ramirez

Jose L Ramirez has extensive experience in facilities operations and management, notably serving as Assistant Vice President of Facilities Operations at the University of Miami Health System since January 2021. Previously, Jose held the position of Senior Executive Director of Hospital Facilities at the University of Miami from 2010 to February 2023, where significant contributions included the establishment of the EOC Compliance Department and successful navigation of regulatory compliance for the UHealth System. Prior roles include Director of Facilities Management and Safety Officer at University of Miami Hospital & Clinics from 2007 to 2010, and Regional Manager of Facilities Services at Broward General Medical Center from 1992 to 2006. Jose holds a Master’s degree in Management and Operations from Western Governors University, completed in 2021.
