Nemencio Ronquillo

Nemencio Ronquillo serves as an Assistant Professor of Pathology and Attending Physician at the University of Miami Health System since January 2020, also holding the position of Associate Program Director of the Gastrointestinal Pathology Fellowship Training Program. Prior to this, Nemencio Ronquillo worked as an Assistant Professor of Pathology and Attending Physician at KentuckyOne Health - University of Louisville Hospital from September 2017 to January 2020, and completed a Gastrointestinal/Liver Pathology Fellowship at the University of California, San Diego, from July 2016 to June 2017. Additional experience includes an Oncologic Surgical Pathology Fellowship at MD Anderson Cancer Center and a residency in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at the University of Illinois Hospital & Health Sciences System, where Nemencio Ronquillo also served as Chief Resident. Earlier training included a residency in Internal Medicine at Rush University Medical Center. Education includes a Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of the Philippines College of Medicine and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of the Philippines.
