Aled Tien

Aled Tien is currently a Masters Candidate in SEC MAC at the University of Michigan, where engagement in education began in June 2020. Previously, Aled held significant leadership roles at Motorola Solutions as the General Manager for Wireless Network Systems in the Asia-Pacific and Middle East regions from December 2009 to June 2015. Aled also founded and served as the Managing Director of TN Consulting Pte. Ltd. from March 2008 to December 2009. Notable positions at Alcatel-Lucent included Director for Emerging Service Provider Accounts & Channel Partner Management, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Indonesia and Vietnam, and Managing Director of the ASEAN Customer Team from 2004 to 2007. Aled's earlier career at Lucent Technologies and AT&T Network Systems Group involved various management roles focused on business development and product management. Aled's educational qualifications include a Master of Arts in Secondary Education from the University of Michigan and a BA with honors in Economics from the University of Chicago, complemented by language and history studies at Peking University and Beijing Language and Culture University.
