Anmol Panda

Anmol Panda is a doctoral student at the University of Michigan, working under Prof. Libby Hemphill at the School of Information since September 2020. Prior experience includes a role as a research fellow at Microsoft, where contributions involved developing a classifier for identifying Twitter accounts of public figures in India's political landscape. Anmol also served as a senior project assistant at the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, collaborating with Prof. Sorav Bansal. Educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Computer and Information Sciences from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, complemented by exchange studies in Information Technology at Uppsala University. Additional experiences encompass teaching programming and mathematics, as well as a Mitacs Globalink Research Internship at the University of Northern British Columbia, focusing on position determination algorithms.
