Ashli W.

Ashli W. is an experienced program manager specializing in diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives within higher education. Currently, Ashli serves as the Program Manager for Strategy and Workforce Belonging at the University of Michigan, overseeing the development of a comprehensive DEI strategic plan for over 30,000 employees. Previous roles include Project Director for the Michigan Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation, where Ashli enhanced inclusion for underrepresented racial groups in STEM through strategic relationships and collaboration. Additionally, Ashli has a background in implementing inclusive programs at the College of Engineering, focusing on social justice discussions for first-year engineering students, and has contributed to retention efforts for underrepresented students at Auburn University. Ashli holds a Master’s Degree in Higher Education Administration from the University of Michigan, a Master’s Degree in Conservation Biology from Central Michigan University, and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Albion College.
