Beth Dugan

Associate Program Director, Genetic Counseling Program

Beth Dugan is an experienced genetic counselor currently serving as the Associate Program Director for the Genetic Counseling Program at the University of Michigan since July 2022. Prior to this, Beth held the position of Assistant Program Director for the same program from October 2019 to July 2022. With a career that began in 2001 at the Detroit Medical Center, Beth has held various roles, including Lead Genetic Counselor at the Fetal Diagnostic Center, where protocols were developed and alternative service delivery models were implemented. Beth has a Master’s degree in Genetic Counseling from Case Western Reserve University and a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and Sociology from the University of Michigan.
