Carrie Throm is an accomplished leader with extensive experience in fundraising and arts administration, currently serving as Assistant Vice President for Leadership and Major Gift Programs at the University of Michigan since September 2005. Throm manages a team of approximately 40 staff members focused on advancing institutional goals through major gifts and various fundraising initiatives. Additional roles include Adjunct Lecturer at the School of Music, Theatre & Dance, and previous positions at the Museum of Art where Throm held several leadership roles, including Deputy Director for Advancement and Interim Director of Development. Throm's career also includes significant positions at the University of Cincinnati and Indiana University Bloomington, with a strong foundation in public relations and development in the arts sector. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Arts Administration from Indiana University Bloomington and a Bachelor's degree in Quantitative Economics and Decision Sciences with a focus on Music from UC San Diego.
