Chris Frank is a medical professional with extensive experience in family medicine and public health. Currently serving as the Medical Director of University Health & Counseling at the University of Michigan since August 2022, Chris also holds multiple leadership roles, including Chair of the Washtenaw County Board of Health and Board Member. Chris has been an Associate Professor of Family Medicine at the University of Michigan Medical School since 2019, following a tenure as a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Washington from 2011 to 2019, where mentorship and education of medical students were key responsibilities. Chris's previous roles include Health Officer/Medical Director for Clallam County and Chair of the Steering Committee for the Regional Opioid Response, addressing complex health issues in the region. Chris earned an MD and PhD from The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and completed a Family Medicine Residency at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, alongside a Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biology from the University of Michigan.
