Chuck Aoki

Chuck Aoki is a highly accomplished professional currently serving as a Community Access Navigator at the University of Michigan since April 2022, while also pursuing a PhD in Comparative Politics and International Relations at the University of Denver. Aoki's diverse experiences include serving as a Paralympic athlete in The Hartford's Paralympic Ambassador Program, mentoring students through Classroom Champions, and freelance blogging for the International Paralympic Committee. Additionally, Aoki has contributed to USA Wheelchair Rugby and operates as a motivational speaker, sharing personal stories to inspire others. Aoki's academic background includes a Master's in Public Policy from the University of Minnesota and a Bachelor's in Social Studies Teacher Education from Metro State University. Previous internships with the National Democratic Institute, Edina Public Library, and the Minnesota Twins highlight strong research and leadership capabilities.
