David Miller currently serves as the Director of Undergraduate Studies in Economics and holds the position of Associate Professor of Economics at the University of Michigan, where employment began in July 2013. Prior to this role, David was a Visiting Researcher at Microsoft Research New England from July 2012 to June 2013 and an Assistant Professor of Economics at the University of California, San Diego from July 2004 until June 2013. Additionally, a Visiting Professor of Economics at Yale University for the academic year 2008-2009, David started his career as a Research Analyst at the Tellus Institute from October 1995 to June 1998. David earned a Ph.D. in Economics from Stanford University between 1998 and 2004, following an A.B. in Environmental Science and Public Policy from Harvard University, completed in 1995.
